We took a day off in Ronda. It is a pretty little town on a cliff with a picturesque bridge across a very steep gorge. It was our first chance to do laundry since the trip began. My clothes weren't standing up on their own yet but I figured it couldn't hurt.
The rain hasn't let up much and we have been getting wet every day and woken up by the rain every night. Though for a few hours in the afternoon we have been getting some sunshine for our bike riding. This came in particularly helpful when we turned down a dirt road. Using Google maps certainly has its advantages but one of the disadvantages is that it will send you down a rutted tractor road through farm fields and orchards as a rain storm approaches. The roads took us past some cool old ruins but if it had rained it would have made for a few very difficult miles. I as it was we still had to cross a stream as deep as our hubs.
Great photos Jake. Keep on killing it.
